ENGHong Kong Christian Service Solis Playland (Sham Shui Po) is the second non-profit-making Child Care Centre under the Hong Kong Christian Service and the first institution in Hong Kong to be approved by the Social Welfare Department to have an independent baby spa room in a Child Care Centre, aiming toprovide a safe, healthy and warm home for infants and toddlers under the age of three.
Our centre features activity rooms for infants and toddlers, an indoor physical play area, Montessori zones, a music room, and a reading corner. In addition, we have group playrooms for sensory activities, a hygienic independent diaper changing room, a breastfeeding room, a milk preparation room, and a medical room. Our facilities are well-equipped, and the environment is elegant, adhering to our service philosophy of balancing education and care.
The name “Solis ” means “brilliant sun”. In Latin, “SOLIS” means sun, symbolizing our intention to nurture children who can shine and radiate like the sun. Our curriculum activities are guided by the “HAPPY Curriculum ,” which emphasizes caring and affectionate support. We focus on building good character during the developmental stages of infants and toddlers, highlighting the importance of learning knowledge and skills through play. We strive to allow infants and toddlers to feel joy, fun, and satisfaction, fostering a positive attitude towards life and achieving holistic development.
